GALLERY Being nowhere and everywhere

The use of corrugated cardboard in 「Stolen Utopia」 is not only meaningful because of its old-style materialistic characteristics but more because of its materialistic processes and evolvement. The artist tried to retrace and analyze the original form of corrugated cardboard. By being reproduced as a whole another social material serving industrial purposes, the main function of the material’s original form was lost and another artistic value was given to the new material.
